Paraplanner required for a leading company in Gloucestershire

Profile: Paraplanner

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: 28000 - 30000 per annum per annum plus bonus plus benefits.

Work experience required: 3-5 years experience working as a Paraplanner in an IFA environment

Education/Qualifications: CF1-5 or equivalent essential.

AFPC/ Financial Services Diploma status (or near qualified)

Degree desirable

The Paraplanner will support a team of Wealth Management Advisors ensuring that all advisor documentation produced meets industry best practice standards and are of a consistently high quality, they will also oversee the Technical support and research team.

The role will involve producing and maintaining technical support material, amending and updating templates and procedures and ensuring tools are compliant and meet industry standards.

The Paraplanner will assist advisors in order to resolve issues or questions regarding technical information; and to undertake research on non standard cases and on the feasibility of investment preferences, making appropriate recommendations.

The Paraplanner will be technically competent in Pensions and Investments, able to produce CGT calculations for illustration purposes, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
