Project Manager - Construction / Refurbishment
Location - Cheltenham
Term - 24 Month contract
Salary - DOE

Project Manager with a background in construction and refurbishment required for our client , a prestigious organisation based in Cheltenham.

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for: leading the delivery of medium to very high risk projects, including a capital refurbishment project from initiation to completion. Key duties will include: agree scope and quality criteria are agreed at outset of project; define project plans, outputs and objectives; set up appropriate project governance structure and ensure compliance; ensure resources are allocated to the project and utilised properly; ensure configuration management is undertaken; deliver innovative solutions to problems; ensure good project management practice; manage risks and issues.

Essential skills include: previous project management experience, particularly within a construction environment on refurbishment projects; Prince 2 qualified; experience of supplier management; experience of delivering refurbishment / relocation project; proven Project Management experience for high risk, complex projects; experience of identifying and managing risks; experience of EPM tools; strong leadership skills; confidence when engaging with senior team and board members; Strong IT skills including: MS Project , Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio.
